'BOOST YOUR BALANCE' WORKSHOP

Workshop 

  • This workshop focuses on standing balance and falls prevention strategies and is ideal for those wanting to improve lower limb strength and physical reactions.
  • You will learn to recruit balance reactions utilising both visual, vestibular(ears) and joint and muscle receptors
  • You will learn techniques and exercises to improve your balance, and be given take home exercises that you can undertake so that you can improve your standing balance
  • Understanding the components of balance and what you can do to improve this will be covered in a short theory session followed by a practical session, so please wear your exercise attire with your gym shoes
