Our friendly, approachable and experienced physios in Fremantle will help you better understand your body, your injury and will guide you through the recovery process.

We pride ourselves on being the trusted names in the industry and want to help you “get back on the horse” as soon as possible. We have been helping people for over 20 years which means there’s rarely a case or injury we haven’t seen before and treated.

AURELIE BLUMANN

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc.(Physio) Post Grad.Dip.Manip.Ther.

Aurelie has advanced training in the assessment of musculoskeletal conditions and works extensively in areas of neck and back pain, and chronic (longstanding) conditions. Aurelie has completed post-graduate qualifications in manipulative therapy and has a special interest in hydrotherapy, dry needling, and hyper-mobility conditions. She provides assistance with early exercise intervention for acute injuries and also long term management of chronic conditions.

Her early physiotherapy career working in paediatrics and women’s health enables Aurelie to bring this depth of experience treating patients of all ages and all stages. Having been a private practitioner for 30+ years in the Fremantle area, Aurelie established AB Physiotherapy in 2002 and continues to be passionate about the role of physiotherapy in managing musculoskeletal health.

With a strong interest in over-50’s physio, Aurelie is also an accredited GLA:D osteoarthritis physiotherapist.

LINDA VESTLIN

Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc.(Physio) Masters Sports and Exercise Physio.

Linda has recently completed her Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) at Curtin University, Western Australia, and completed her physiotherapy undergraduate degree in Sweden in 2014. This course had a strong emphasis on exercise prescription and conservative (non-operative) management of sports and musculoskeletal conditions. She has worked in a range of clinical settings in Sweden with all ages. Linda has a strong interest in Sports related injuries, and has worked with WA Netballers and also has provided physiotherapy cover for the Women’s AFL Dockers Football team. Her clinical interests include exercise rehabilitation from acute recovery to longer term management. Linda enjoys working with adolescents, and assisting their recovery from sports related injuries. Linda is a keen runner,Yoga enthusiast and enjoys the Australian climate and our great outdoors!

Linda joined the AB Physio team, working full time in 2020 and is also dry needling certified and GLA:D accredited

JENNY WOODS

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc.(Physio) Post Grad.Dip.Manip.Ther.

Jenny Woods is an experienced physiotherapist with post graduate training in musculoskeletal disorders and has worked with professional ballet dancers as Head of Dancer Wellbeing at the West Australian Ballet from 2014-2019. She has worked extensively in the hospital and private sector for more than 30 years.

She is interested in the treatment of all areas of musculoskeletal pain management and has a special interest in foot, ankle, knee, hip & lower back problems. Jenny is Dry needling certified, Pilates certified and is a GLA:D hip and knee arthritis practitioner.

 

TRISH STARLING

Physiotherapist

B.App.Sc.(Physio) 

Trish graduated from Curtin in 1988 and worked in a wide variety of public and private settings, both in WA and around Australia. Her specialties include hydrotherapy, exercise therapy and falls prevention, with a special interest in chronic pain rehabilitation. Trish has been an elite middle distance runner and continues to keep fit with walking and hiking. Trish is currently only undertaking hydrotherapy at Kirby Swim for a Tuesday session as she is participating in research regarding support of carers managing patients following hospital admissions.
